Eleanor M. Workman
Eleanor M. Workman, called Mimi by her family, passed away Tuesday August 5, 2008.  Services will be held in the Chapel at Mount Bethel United Methodist Church on Thursday August 21st at 4:00pm.  A gathering for family and close friends will be held following the service in the home of Allen and Ellen Seagraves.  Mimi will be greatly missed by anyone lucky enough to have met her.

For the last few years, she has been staying with the great people of Edenbrook of Buckhead and has most recenlty been under the care of Homestead Hospice.

We all loved Mimi for her cheerful demeanor, her selfless dedication to rasing her son Skip who, with Down's Syndrome,  predeceeded her.  Her daughter, Beverly, still lives in Sandy Springs on the same property the family moved to when she was just a small girl.  Mimi was also an exemplary grandmother to Philip, Allen and their stepbrother Les.  Her example and guiding hand were instrumental in the upbringing of these boys who have now gone on to have children of their own and enter successful business careers.
